Spotlight on First Bite Boulder

Restaurants in Boulder are finally getting their due -- it's about time! Last month, Gourmet Magazine recognized Frasca as one of the top fifty restaurants in the country (read about it, plus a special interview with Sommelier and Co-Owner Bobby Stuckey, here).

And now, First Bite Boulder kicks off today with a party at the St. Julien Hotel. There will be a public event in the Lobby from 5pm - 9pm, with complimentary appetizers from Wild Oats, cocktail specials from Level Vodka, and live music from Sambadende. Or, if you just can't wait for the food fun to begin, a $75 ticket will get you into Jill's Restaurant for Cocktail Hour at 5pm, Drink Contest at 6pm, and a 4 course seated dinner at 7pm.

And that's just the beginning! 40 of Boulder's top restaurants will offer a special three course $26 prixe fixe dinner menu, tomorrow Saturday November 11th to Saturday November 18th. Many of the participating restaurants are downtown: This promises to be an amazing week -- great food, great prices, and a great line-up of restaurants. Almost all of the restaurants have already posted menus at firstbiteboulder.com, so if you need help narrowing it down (I know I do), the website is full of great information.

We'll be sharing our experiences with you; send us yours!
