"Fast" Eddie is back in Downtown Boulder

Pearl street mall regulars miss the familiar sound of an old soul from Chicago arguing with customers about the difference between Chicago style hot dogs and New York style hot dogs. “Fast” Eddie Ermoian retired in 2006 after spending 12 years serving up hot dogs on the pearl street mall. With his wonderful personality, Eddie would happily describe the difference between New York and Chicago style hot dogs (sauerkraut is the key), ask you about your trips to Chicago, and probably discuss the Bears, Bulls, or Cubs. What most do not know is that Eddie was the eyes and ears of the mall for the Downtown Boulder management community. Well, those eyes and ears are back as Eddie returns to the Pearl Street Mall. Beginning in April, Eddie will be a Downtown Boulder ambassador, working out of the new visitor’s center on the 1300 block of Pearl Street. For a recent story covering Eddie’s return to downtown, visit The Daily Camera website.
