Retail vacancies in Downtown Boulder spark questions

With the ebb and flow of retail business and the economy, some changes have taken place in Downtown Boulder. Many people question why so many high profile spaces are empty on the Pearl Street Mall, particularly the former Mont Bell space on the corner of Broadway and Pearl. As the landlords of these vacancies would tell you, there is a high amount of interest in all empty spaces in Downtown Boulder. A few spaces have already turned over and been leased to new merchants.
