Conference on World Affairs happening this week in Boulder



This week, Roger Ebert, the iconic, Chicago-Sun-Times, Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic is here in Boulder! Ebert, along with over 100 other participants, is here for the the sixty-first annual Conference on World Affairs (CWA) held at CU. This week-long event includes over 200 panels, plenaries and performances. Topics range from international affairs, the arts, science, diplomacy, technology, human rights, the environment and politics, just to name a few. Issues are discussed by conference participants on an impromptu basis. Audience attendees include student, faculty, staff, alumni, members of the media, locals and visitors from around the nation. All events are free and open to the public. Downtown Boulder businesses who are sponsoring the CWA include the Hotel Boulderado and the Camera.
